Barton Community College art instructor Steve Dudek was accepted in the 2009 Kansas Watercolor Society National Watercolor Exhibition. He was among 85 artists who were selected out of 450 entrants from 25 states.

Dudek also was awarded the Liz Koch Patron Purchase Award, an award made possible by Koch Industries Inc. of Wichita.

The exhibition will open Nov. 20 at the Wichita Center for the Arts, 9112 E. Central, Wichita, and will continue through Jan. 12.
