The newest Foundation fund raising event is a Sporting Clay Shoot competition, which is held at LaSada Sporting Clays and Hunting Service in Russell, Kansas the 3rd Sunday of April. For more information, click on the Sporting Clay Shoot page located in the sidebar.
The auction is the longest running fund raising event for the Foundation and its success each year is made possible by the hard work of volunteers. Volunteers from the community, in partnership with the foundation board of directors, call on area businesses, organizations, and individuals to secure items for the live and silent auction. Each year the auction averages 150 silent auction items and 40 live auction items - the items range from merchandise, to gift certificates, services, hand-made items and special events such as dinners, hunting parties, trips etc. All attendees enjoy dinner and a social hour before the live auction. For more information, click on the Big Benefit Auction page located in the sidebar.
In commemoration of Barton Community College's 40th anniversary the Foundation is launching a new fundraiser. We have compiled recipes from the good cooks who have passed through the doors of Barton over the last four decades. We invite you to check out the cookbook link located in the sidebar for information on how to get your own copy.
